Creation of a new material or modification of the descriptive text

Setting	Description
Group	Selection of a property group. It is also possible to create a new group (group name with max. 16 characters). See footnote for modification possibilities.
Name	Material name (max. 16 characters). See footnote for modification possibilities.
Description	Descriptive text (max. 80 characters)
Type	Material type (to be selected in the pull-down menu). The type of the material governs the selection of the relevant material parameters.

Note: Directly modifying the name and the group assignment is not allowed. If this is needed, use the copy button for creating a new material with the new name, and delete the original material afterwords.
